Spellcheck warning

SpellCheck warning

While SpellChecker programs can be helpful, here is an amusing object lesson in why you should use them advisedly.

The original poem was written in 1991 by Mark Eckman and Jerrold H. Zar and has subsequently been extended by other imaginative grammar nuts. If you view it in Word, you will see that the authors' names are the only things caught in the SpellCheck trap – apart from you.

Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea

Eye strike the quays and type a whirred
And weight four it two say
